Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick

6339664A SACRED OATH
A FALLEN ANGEL
A FORBIDDEN LOVE

Romance was not part of Nora Grey's plan. She's never been particularly attracted to the boys at her school, no matter how hard her best friend, Vee, pushes them at her. Not until Patch comes along. With his easy smile and eyes that seem to see inside her, Patch draws Nora to him against her better judgment.

But after a series of terrifying encounters, Nora's not sure whom to trust. Patch seems to be everywhere she is and seems to know more about her than her closest friends. She can't decide whether she should fall into his arms or run and hide. And when she tries to seek some answers, she finds herself near a truth that is way more unsettling than anything Patch makes her feel.

For she is right in the middle of an ancient battle between the immortal and those that have fallen - and, when it comes to choosing sides, the wrong choice will cost Nora her life.

Who knew a fallen angel could be so dang attractive.
You think of them as scary creatures with black wings, sharp pointed teeth, and just all around creepy people.
Not Patch.
He is drop dead gorgeous and could charm the pants off of any girl.  Well any girl, but Nora.  She seems not to be interested in Patch's charms and sexual innuendos.
Nora is a good girl of sorts, she gets good grades, and her mom trusts her enough to leave her at home alone when she's away on business.  Nora likes this freedom and doesn't want anything to jeopardize that.  Strange things start happening to Nora after Patch shows up at school one day.  I learned to just roll with the strange things that start happening to her.
I liked this book a lot.  I'd never heard of it before my friend asked me if I had read it and when I told her no she told me that I needed to read it.  I'm glad that I picked it up because it was awesome.  Patch made me laugh and smile, and I loved the banter between the Nora and Patch.  I love when the love interests have tension and bicker back and forth with one another in the beginning before hooking up.
Then there are plot twists.  So many freaking plot twist that you don't even freaking see coming.  I feel  like this whole series was just one big plot twist after another.

This isn't like the normal fallen angels stories you read about.  Becca Fitzpatrick takes fallen angels and adds a new twist to them.  I liked this version of them.  I felt like she took them to a whole new level.
I would highly recommend this book.  This was a really good book.  I loved Patch, I even loved his dirty comments.  They made me laugh, and sometimes even blush.  I like Nora, she kind of reminded me of myself a little.  This book is a little dark, but it is still good.

Quotes:

“You smell good, too,” said Patch
It’s called a shower.” I was staring straight ahead. When he didn’t answer, I turned sideways. “Soap. Shampoo. Hot water.”
Naked. I know the drill.”
“Say 'provoking' again. Your mouth looks provocative when you do.”

“You possess other people's...bodies."
He accepted that statement with a nod.
"Do you want to possess my body?"
"I want to do a lot of things to your body, but that's not one of them.”

“Hang on, did you just call me Angel?" I asked.
"If I did?"
"I don't like it."
He grinned. "It stays, Angel.”

“If I'd wanted you dead five minutes ago, you'd have died five minutes ago.”

“Tacos."
"Tacos?" I echoed.
This seemed to amuse him. "Tomatoes, lettuce, cheese."
"I know what a taco is
